Built in the open. Here's what's next.

No secret backlog. No investor-driven priorities. Just a list of what makes Quokka more useful for people buying a home.

Commute locations

Set your key locations - work, school, family - and see estimated drive and transit times from every suburb and property you're comparing.

Onboarding guide

A short walkthrough for new users that shows how scoring works, how to track properties, and how to get the most out of comparison. Dismissible once you've seen it.

Smart property entry

Paste a listing URL or describe a property in plain text and Quokka fills in the details for you. Less form-filling, more house hunting.

Planned

QLD & WA suburb data

Expanding coverage to Queensland and Western Australia. Crime and school data is available now - property prices require paid datasets we're working through.

Bushfire data for VIC, NSW & QLD

Currently SA-only. Each state publishes bushfire-prone area boundaries in different formats - rolling them out one by one.

Suburb alerts

Get notified when a suburb you're watching has new price data, a crime stats update, or a significant score change.

Census 2026 data

The next Australian Census is August 2026, with data published late 2027. When it lands, every demographic and income figure in Quokka gets refreshed.

Neighbourhood insights

Walkability, public transport access, nearby amenities, and green space. Pulling from OpenStreetMap and GTFS feeds.

Exploring

Ideas we're thinking about but haven't committed to yet. No promises - just directions we're considering.

Shared comparison links

Generate a shareable link so your partner, family, or mortgage broker can see the same comparison you're looking at.

PDF export

Download your suburb or property comparison as a clean PDF. Handy for sharing with your partner, mortgage broker, or just keeping a record.

Mobile app

A lightweight companion for open-house days. Pull up suburb scores and your property notes while you're standing in the driveway.

Why a public roadmap?

Most property tools ship features quietly and hope you notice. We'd rather tell you what's coming, let you weigh in, and build the things that actually matter to people buying a home. No feature exists because a growth metric demanded it.
